Google Spreadsheet Frustrations

I am enjoying my experience with Google Spreadsheets today as I get a presentation ready for tomorrow.  I have chosen to use this app rather than Excel for a couple of reasons:
  • Really wanted to try out the app
  • Is not a number crunching, intense spreadsheet
  • Is a collaborative spreadsheet to work with my partner on
But the last point is the stickler: I can't work corraboratively with people that are not involved with the Alpha.  DOH!  How do I use the app for working with my business partners if they can't actually log in and use it?  Gliffy had a closed beta, but stressed the importance of group work on documents by opening it to partners you needed to work with.  I see the collaborative nature of Google Spreadsheets as a key differentiator and cannot experience that until my business partners are accepted into the beta.

Another issue I see looming for me: my Google experiences are all tied to my personal email accounts and not my professional.  If I choose to integrate any Google products into my professional workflow later on, I may be stuck having to run separate accounts.

Thanks for the mention. We are very appreciative. We are way out of beta and are on the verge of great new collaborative things. If you have any suggestions and/or feedback about where we are at now, please drop us a line at our newly revamped website! Thanks,
